Ground Transportation to/from the Host Hotel

• The closest airport to the Washington Hilton is Washington National Airport (DCA), located approximately six miles from the hotel. Travel time is approximately 20 minutes by car, depending on traffic. Ground transportation information is available here, including taxi and ride-share.
• The Metro (WMATA) is available from DCA airport: 
  • FIRST: Board the Yellow Line at DCA toward Mt. Vernon Square/Greenbelt. Get off at Gallery Place–Chinatown.
  • NEXT: Transfer to the Red Line at Gallery Place–Chinatown toward Shady Grove, exit at the DuPont Circle station.
  • LAST: Exit at the DuPont Circle station and walk north on Connecticut Avenue NW toward Florida Avenue. The Washington Hilton is about a six- to 10-minute walk (approximately 0.4 miles).

​Additional airport options: ​If flights into DCA are not convenient, you may also consider the following airports:

• Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
  Approximately 27 miles from the Washington Hilton and, depending on traffic, about a 40-minute drive. Ride-share and taxi services are available. IAD is also accessible to Washington, D.C., via the WMATA Silver Line.
   
• Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)
  Approximately 36 miles from the Washington Hilton and a 50-minute drive, depending on traffic. Ride-share and taxi services are available, as well as other ground transportation options.
   

If you are traveling via Amtrak, Union Station is closest to the Washington Hilton. From Union Station, rideshare, taxis, and Metro are available.

• If you opt to take the Metro (WMATA) from Union Station: 
  • FIRST: Board the Red Line toward Shady Grove. 
  • LAST: Exit at the DuPont Circle station and walk north on Connecticut Avenue NW toward Florida Avenue. The Washington Hilton is approximately a six- to 10-minute walk (about 0.4 miles).
