Our labor community was engaged, we served others through service projects, and we came together in taking another step toward strengthening the bond between the civil rights and labor movements.
In the words of Dr. King from his “Where Do We Go from Here?” address, “[W]e must walk on in the days ahead with an audacious faith in the future,” and we have so much faith in the future after seeing what we accomplished at this year’s conference.
